XCMG Group and ZF Friedrichshafen AG signed a joint venture agreement in Friedrichshafen, Germany, to strengthen their collaboration in the agricultural machinery sector.

The joint venture, named ZF (Xuzhou) Machinery Co., Ltd., will be headquartered in the Xuzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone, Jiangsu Province, China.

The new company will focus on producing advanced powershift driveline systems for agricultural machinery. It combines ZF‘s global technology leadership with XCMG’s market strength in China.

Yang Dongsheng, Chairman of XCMG, stated: "The industry is evolving toward larger scale, higher-end products, and greater intelligence. Tractor powershift technology is at a key stage of rapid development."

Andreas Moser, ZF Board Member, noted that ZF‘s 45-year presence in China reflects its long-term commitment to local innovation.

This partnership marks a significant step in XCMG’s globalization strategy, aiming to develop globally competitive solutions for the high-end agricultural machinery market.
