At 11:00 p.m. on May 2, with the help of ZOOMLION
cranes, the first wind turbine hoisting of Section II of the main construction
project of the wind farm of the Xinjiang Tianshan North Foothill New Energy
Base Project, my country's first "Shagohuang" large base transmission
channel project, was successfully completed, pressing the accelerator for
"Xinjiang Power into Chongqing".
The project is an important part of the
"Xinjiang Power into Chongqing", a key project of the "14th
Five-Year Plan" of the country, with a total installed capacity of 4.1
million kW. After completion, it will effectively integrate Chongqing's
electricity demand with Xinjiang's resource advantages and promote the
cross-regional optimization of energy resources. The construction scale of
Section II of the project is huge, and the wind turbine installation needs to
be completed on hundreds of square kilometers of Gobi Desert.
The wind turbine unit hoisted by ZOOMLION
cranes this time has a single unit capacity of 8.35MW, a blade length of 103m,
and a whole wind turbine weight of 735t. Faced with challenges such as tight
construction schedule and complex environment, the project team formulated a
"one machine, one plan" before hoisting, and repeatedly simulated key
steps such as the placement of site equipment and tools, crane station
position, and full-load test. The Gobi Desert often blows 6-7 level winds
during the day. In order to ensure safety, the hoisting of wind turbine blades
is arranged at night.
During the hoisting, everyone seized the
window period of light wind, and a ZOOMLION 1000t crawler crane and three
auxiliary cranes started the operation simultaneously. During the entire
hoisting process, the equipment was lifted steadily. As the Y530 wind turbine
blades achieved "millimeter-level" docking with the nacelle at an
altitude of 116m, the precise performance fully met the construction
expectations, creating a good start for the subsequent advancement of the
project.
