XCMG Achieves 57 Second Pile Driving Efficiency
Publication Date: 2025-05-20
At the 178MW photovoltaic construction site in Yangzhou, the XCMG XE300GP pile driver's mechanical arm rises and falls accurately, and 10m prefabricated piles are implanted into the stratum at an average rhythm of 57s per pile. The pile foundation verticality monitor displays the accuracy data of ±5cm in real time.
The project leader said that the project needs to drive 32,000 foundation piles in hardened farmland and hilly slopes, and the pull-out resistance of a single pile must reach 8t. The average daily speed of 130 piles of traditional equipment cannot meet the requirements.

XCMG XE300GP pile driver cooperates with XE200G to transport materials, and the daily pile driving volume exceeds 160 piles. It successfully completes the construction of 20,000 foundation piles before the flood season, winning a golden window period for the subsequent photovoltaic array installation. In addition, XCMG XE300GP is equipped with a self-developed special control program, which improves the penetration efficiency of construction in hard soil and farmland conditions by 30%, and the whole machine can still maintain stable movement in hilly 25° slope conditions.

XCMG's full life cycle service system also ensures the orderly progress of the project. The equipment attendance rate reaches 98.7%, and the comprehensive fuel consumption decreases by 8%. In addition, the XCMG spare parts warehouse has a 12-hour emergency response, which reduces the overall construction cost by more than 15%.
